     A traditional octagon table will seat up eight persons comfortably.  Octagons offer the most equal space between players, so that one or two aren't separated over great distances (at the head and foot of a stretch or racetrack for example).

A Standard 48" Octagons is $359.00 - Comes with padded rails, wooden surround, cup-holders, padded playing surface, and black folding legs.

   The stretch table is a hybrid between an octagon and a racetrack.  Some people prefer a more linear look than what a racetrack offers.  One advantage the stretch tables offer is that the playing surface can be raised and trimmed as seen in the tables below.  Another advantage is that stretch tables can be built easily as table-tops.  The green table below was made to fit exactly over a kitchen table.  It locks in place, and takes up no extra room when in use.  The rectangular one was built to fit over a pool table.  

There is no standard for stretch tables; they are custom made to your specs.
